Facilitate 3D Secure transactions to prevent credit card fraud.
PayDollar MPI is a software module that enables merchants to participate in Visa, MasterCard, JCB and American Express 3D Secure Programs. Once a payment request arrives at the merchant or payment gateway, the MPI (Merchant Plug-In) sends a request to different card brands in order to check if the card used by the credit card holder is participating in the 3D Secure Program. If the card is enrolled, the cardholder will be redirected to the 3D Secure authentication page for authorization.
Participating in a 3D Secure program adds a layer of security in online credit card transactions which helps to protect acquiring banks, merchants and cardholders from financial costs due to unauthorized credit card usage.
